You can request the upgrades you need at any time within your Account Manager in just a few clicks and then you will have more hosting resources available for your site. This process does not require you to transfer files - everything is done automatically. Simply activate the upgrade and your account will be expanded according to your choice.

All of our hosting services are shared Web Hosting, meaning that each server hosts a number of sites for different users, sharing the resources. Web servers are so powerful they can hold up to 2000 websites, allowing us to deliver optimal value without affecting performance.

Unlike certain other providers, we do not load up or over subscribe our machines until they cannot handle any more services. Our maximum capacity, both in terms of hard drive and memory usage, tops out at 80%. This means that, no matter what is happening, your website can handle large spikes in traffic without losing performance or availability.

This limit in usage of resources rather than number of customers means that we can maintain the responsiveness of our infrastructure and keep your website and services running smoothly and quickly. It is very carefully planned to mean that we do not have large numbers of resource-hungry websites, applications and scripts running on the same servers. Each machine is only used to a reasonable capacity.

We do not provide support for third-party scripts. This is because our support staff are highly trained in using our hosting system and it is not possible to train them in every script that anyone uploads through their cPanel Web Hosting manager. Learning programming and scripting languages is a long and difficult job, and there is a large variety of languages that our system supports. Learning all of them can take years.

However, our support are always happy to do whatever they can to help you by finding articles and other content to help you out if you need it. It is better, though, to ask for support directly from the code’s source. Different scripting languages have active support communities, and if you are using a piece of proprietary code, then the developer will be more familiar with it and able to give you answers to your issues.

Yes. We keep backups for internal reasons, however, we recommend to clients to keep their own backups. It is not feasible to offer assurance of data backup for Web Hosting and advise that you should do this independently and ensure that your hosting account’s content - site files, scripts and applications - are all backed up correctly.

We urge all our customers to keep regular backups. If your site is static or does not see much traffic, then these can happen weekly, but for more traffic-heavy sites that may be updated often, daily backups are recommended. Our hosting management system, cPanel, has a simple backup feature that you can use to download a complete copy of your site, databases and any other contents of your hosting account. Yes. If, at any time and for any reason within the first 60 days of using our hosting service, you want your money back, you get a full refund of the remaining time. You don’t have to pay for anything that you haven’t used or don’t want to continue using. If you decide to use this guarantee, your account will be credited for the amount of the refund.

Please note that this guarantee does not apply to domain names. These must be bought from the registries, which do not provide refunds on domains that have already been registered. It does apply to all of our other services.
